Well, sometimes you run the analysis and then forget to update your Word document. This usually requires running the new analyses in your stats program, and then writing the results in your MS Word document. Sometimes you collect more data, or you come up with a better strategy for data analysis, and then you need to update your manuscript. Never forget to update your statistics again. Instead of switching back and forth between windows for SPSS and MS Word, or between R and MS Word, you can do everything in a couple of RStudio tabs.Ģ. Why write your manuscript in RStudio?
